Children’s Museum of Memphis – Space Exhibit
Friday, December 14th, 2007The Children’s Museum of Memphis began displaying a traveling exhibit called Living in Space back in June. It has been a real hit amongst visitors. December 16th is the last day to check out the exhibit, so hurry in while you still have a chance.
The exhibit gives kids the chance to see what life is like for an astronaut in space. Kids get to pretend to do official science research as they work as astronauts and get to see what it is like to live, play, and eat in space. Kids can also experience real stories from space.
The exhibit is made up of three parts: “Living in Space,” “Working in Space” and “Playing in Space.” Each part gives kids a chance at hands on, educational fun. They even get to see what it’s like to have to go to the bathroom in space!
Living in Space is presented in English and Spanish.
Admission to the exhibit is included with regular museum admission.
The exhibit ends on December 16, 2007.
