The Children’s Museum of Memphis began displaying a traveling exhibit called Living in Space back in June. It has been a real hit amongst visitors. December 16th is the last day to check out the exhibit, so hurry in while you still have a chance.
The exhibit gives kids the chance to see what life is like for an astronaut in space. Kids get to pretend to do official science research as they work as astronauts and get to see what it is like to live, play, and eat in space. Kids can also experience real stories from space.
The exhibit is made up of three parts: “Living in Space,” “Working in Space” and “Playing in Space.” Each part gives kids a chance at hands on, educational fun. They even get to see what it’s like to have to go to the bathroom in space!
Living in Space is presented in English and Spanish.
Admission to the exhibit is included with regular museum admission.
The exhibit ends on December 16, 2007.

You may or may not be aware that the City of Memphis hosts tax sales. A tax sale is when property is sold for its unpaid taxes. This occurs at a public auction. Usually these properties can be bought for great deals. These are advertised within twenty days of the sale in the paper. Each property has specific terms.
Note that the auction only accepts cash, cashier check, or money order.
If you are into real estate this is something worth looking into.
